MedSync was founded by physicians Dr. Ilkovych and Dr. Neeli, who together bring decades of combined experience and have cared for tens of thousands of patients across the entire healthcare spectrum — from outpatient clinics to hospital intensive care units.
After years on the frontlines, they witnessed the same recurring problems: a fragmented healthcare system, inaccurate medical information, and patients left in the passenger seat of their own care journey.
Despite advances in electronic medical records, communication gaps, medication discrepancies, and data overload continue to compromise safety, quality, and efficiency.
Motivated by these challenges, the founders brought together a team of clinicians, engineers, and healthcare innovators to create a revolutionary digital platform — one that puts patients and families back in control of their health information while supporting hospitals in improving accuracy, communication, and patient satisfaction.
The result is MedSync — a secure, HIPAA-compliant, and intuitive app designed from the ground up based on real-world clinical experience and a deep understanding of both system workflows and patient needs.

Beyond his clinical role, Dr. Ilkovych is an entrepreneur and certified life coach trained through Robbins Madanes Training, the Institute for Functional Medicine, and the Physician Coaching Academy. Having counseled multiple healthcare startups, he now focuses on making a meaningful impact through MedSync — a digital platform he founded to simplify communication and strengthen collaboration between patients and their care teams.
