PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING PRIVACY POLICY. WHEN YOU USE OUR WEBSITE www.medsync.me AND MEDSYNC MOBILE APP, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS PRIVACY POLICY.

This Privacy Policy applies when using www.medsync.me and the Medsync Mobile app and its services, products, features, and technologies (together hereinafter referred to as “Medsync”), which is owned by HEALTHNEST, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “HEALTHNEST”).

HEALTHNEST and its subsidiaries respect the privacy of our online visitors, registered members, and providers, and recognize the importance of protecting all who use Medsync. We have adopted a Privacy Policy that guides how we collect, store, and use the information you provide to us online. Please note that this policy applies only to sites maintained by HEALTHNEST and its subsidiaries, and not to websites maintained by other companies or organizations linked to HEALTHNEST.

HEALTHNEST reserves the right, at any time, to modify this Privacy Policy. If we make revisions that change the way we collect, use, or share Personal Information, we will post those changes in this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes to our Privacy Policy, we may also notify you by other means prior to the changes taking effect, such as by posting a notice on our Site or sending you a notification.


Information Collected Upon Registration

If you desire to have access to certain restricted sections of Medsync, you will be required to become a registered user. As a condition of membership, you will be asked to submit certain personally identifiable information. Personally identifiable information that we may collect includes your full name, email address, date of birth, physical address, telephone number, gender, and other information that you may include in your profile.


Information Collected as Part of Your Profile Completion and Functionality

As part of Medsync functionality, you may be able to take and store your personal notes related to healthcare. These notes are stored on our server and protected by encryption procedures. 


Your health history information is stored securely on our partners servers regulated and governed by Business Associate Agreement with HIPAA regulations, and protected from unauthorized disclosure by encryption. We implement administrative, physical, operational, and technical safeguards to protect your health history from unauthorized disclosure.

 We use a HIPAA-compliant service provider with encryption procedures in place. 


Your Account

When you use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to be responsible for all activity on your account.


Use of Contact Information

We may use your contact information to market to you and provide you with information about our products and services.


Use of Information Collected by Medsync

Medsync uses the Personal Information collected in an effort to improve your experience with the services, provide services to you, and communicate with you about information you request. Medsync may also use Personal Information to help develop and improve its services.

Additionally, Medsync may use your Personal Information to:
· Respond to user service requests.
· Administer user accounts.
· Respond to your questions and concerns.
· Communicate with users about our products, services, and related issues.
· Conduct research and analysis.


Security of Personal Information

Medsync has reasonable and industry-standard safeguards in place to help protect Personal Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

Although Medsync attempts to protect Personal Information in our possession, no security system is perfect, and we cannot guarantee that your Personal Information will remain absolutely secure in all circumstances.


Retention of Personal Information

Medsync will retain your Personal Information as needed to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. Medsync will retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to comply with business requirements, legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect assets, and enforce agreements.


Search History

When you visit our website, our servers automatically record information sent by your browser. This may include your IP address, browser type, domain, websites visited, search terms used, and advertisements clicked. Medsync does not associate your IP address with any other personally identifiable information, except in cases of violation of Medsync Terms of Service.

Some of our sites use an outside advertising agency to display ads, which may collect cookies with banner ads. Medsync does not have access to this information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some areas of our website may not function properly if you do.

This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by Medsync only and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties.


Third-Party Services

Users may register for other services from Medsync. If you elect to register for such products or services, your personally identifiable information may be transferred to those third parties, and you will be subject to their Privacy Policy and practices. We are not responsible for their privacy practices and policies. You should review their policies before providing your information.


Service Providers

We engage outside service providers to perform certain functions, including hosting and maintenance of our website, database storage and management, marketing, and customer relationship functions. We will share your personally identifiable information with these service providers only to the extent necessary to perform these functions and under contracts requiring them to maintain the privacy and security of your data.
